Set a pace that fits your practice

Plan around dependencies, not a promised opening date.

Your specialty, location, build-out, staffing, and payer requirements shape the schedule. Track those moving parts together and revise the plan as answers come in.

Three ways to keep the plan useful

  • Give each task an owner. Add a target date and note what needs to happen before it can move.
  • Confirm the outside dependencies. Ask vendors, advisers, and payers what they need and how they communicate progress.
  • Review the plan regularly. Update your checklist and cash-flow assumptions when a key date changes.
